| Alviarin |
Nicole Kidman - 35.0%
Julia Roberts - 5.0%
Gwyneth Paltrow - 5.0%
This is another role that found the previous cast list selection winning easily. In movies like 'Eyes Wide Shut' and 'To Die For', Kidman has shown the ability to wear a mask of icy contempt while her insides are boiling. She wants to be a bad girl.
|
Nicole Kidman
This was one of my better picks in the previous cast list, so I'm sticking with her. Besides, Tom Cruise threatened to beat me up if I didn't.

| Liandrin |
Cameron Diaz - 16.3%
Renee Zellweger - 8.1%
She doesn't display it often, but Cameron Diaz has a temper, and when she gets going, you want to get out of her way. I have a harder time imagining Zellweger as anything other than sweet, which could work really well to surprise the audience's built-in expectations.
|
Cameron Diaz
I wanted to pick somebody else for this role, but I couldn't think of anybody better than Diaz. Of course, you're in a pretty good position when you can 'settle' for Cameron Diaz. :)

| Sevanna |
Madonna - 8.7%
Jennifer Lopez - 8.7%
Rose McGowan - 8.7% (tie)
This was a widely split vote, with two dozen different actresses getting at least one nomination. Today's shake-your-head vote: Shirley MacLaine. WTF? |
Portia de Rossi
She plays focused lawyer Nelle Porter on the Fox show 'Ally McBeal', and she can bring that same intensity to the role of the devious Sevanna.
|
 |
| Else Grinwell |
Claire Forlani - 10.0%
Drew Barrymore - 10.0% (tie)
Rachael Leigh Cook - 6.1%
Of course, Else is only a bad girl in the sense that she wants to be one. At least there weren't any votes for actresses over the age of 50 in this role. If you're going to waste a cameo role on somebody, this is the one to do it with. |
Britney Spears
See, Else is this simpering, full-of-herself spoiled brat of a girl who does nothing but cause trouble for our heroes while being disliked by everybody she meets. I didn't want to insult any real actresses by casting them in this role, so I picked the non-actress that fit the profile the best. |
 |
| Galina |
Kim Basinger - 13.3%
Heather Locklear - 13.3%
Cameron Diaz (tie)
Galina's a tough role because she doesn't get a lot of screen time, and when she does, she's being tortured, so that's not a particularly attractive character. I could see agents not returning phone calls on this one. :)
|
Cybill Shepherd
It seems like the older she's gotten, the more bitter Cybill has become. Everyone who's worked with her has expressed the desire never to work with her again, so I think that seeing Cybill/Galina tortured would make a lot of people in Hollywood happy. |

| Isendre |
Jennifer Lopez - 30.4%
Salma Hayek - 13.0%
Shannon Elizabeth - 4.3%
The list of nominations for this role reads like a Maxim calendar roster. Hot chicks, hot chicks, and more hot chicks. You'd have to find somebody who is more than just comfortable with their sex symbol status - they'd embrace it with enthusiasm. |
Salma Hayek
The first time we meet Salma Hayek in the movie 'Desperado', she's crossing a street, and two cars crash into each other because the drivers are too busy staring at her to pay attention to the road. That's what I'm talking about. |
 |
| High Lady Suroth |
Linda Fiorentino - 24.0%
Miranda Richardson - 8.0%
Cher - 8.0%
Time will tell whether or not Suroth becomes a major player in the events to come, but a powerful, strong female leader needs a equally strong actress. |
Linda Fiorentino
In 'The Last Seduction', Fiorentino twirls all the other characters around her finger with confidence. In 'Dogma', she stands up to the twin charms of Jay and Silent Bob without breaking a sweat. She can handle anything. |
 |
| Melindhra |
Peta Wilson - 10.5%
Heidi Klum - 10.5%
Jennifer Lopez - 10.5% (tie)
Hmmm, 'La Femme Nikita', that might work. Heidi Klum? Does she even act? Oh, wait, she's a supermodel, that doesn't matter. Jennifer Lopez sure got a lot of votes for various characters - guess people like her. |
Eliza Dushku
The vampire slayer with a dark side, Eliza Dushku has the looks and the attitude to play a Maiden of the Spear with a secret. What a cool name, too. |
